What is ESN Twente?
ESN Twente is the largest international student organization in the Twente region. We create an inclusive environment for all students by organizing over 80 events every year, ranging from parties and cultural activities to trips and social gatherings. Our team is made up of seven part-time board members and two committees, all working together to make your student life more exciting.
Who is ESN Twente for?
ESN Twente welcomes all students! Whether you are an international or Dutch student, whether you are studying at the University of Twente, Saxion University of Applied Sciences, ArtEZ University of the Arts, or another institution in the area, whether you are doing an exchange, a full bachelor programme, a full master programme, an internship, or a PHD, you are invited to join us.
Our events are open to everyone — if you’re a student in Twente, you belong with us!
What are your visiting hours?
Our office is located at Bastille 329A (De Hems 10, 7522 NL), on the University of Twente campus. You can visit us during the following hours:

How can I become a member of ESN Twente?
Joining ESN Twente events is easy and free – because there is no membership. But we do offer an ESNcard that gives you exclusive discounts and benefits with our partners and for ESN Twente events.
Want to get more involved? You can become active in one of our committees or even apply for a part-time board position to help run the organization for a year. This is a great way to contribute, build your resume, and be part of an awesome team!
What is an ESNcard?
The ESNcard is your ticket to discounts on ESN parties, trips, and events. Additionally, it gives you access to benefits and exclusive discounts from our local, national, and international partners. It’s the best way to save money while supporting ESN Twente!
How can I get an ESNcard?
Getting an ESNcard is simple:
- Sign up for an ESNcard on esntwente.nl/esncard
- Pay the €18 fee via one of these methods
- Online: iDEAL, Google Pay or Credit Card
- In person: Pay in cash at our office
- Pick up your ESNcard at our office during open office hours
- Activate your ESNcard by registering it at esncard.org
