Being an ESN mentor

On this page you can find some interesting information about what is expected of an ESN Twente mentor. We are always looking for new mentors, so if you are interested we would like to hear from you! Please send our Mentor Coordinator an e-mail (mentor@esntwente.nl) or come by our office (Bastille, 319, open on weekdays in the lunch break).

ESN mentors

• Help during the 2 introductions and after-introduction programs (August/September and January/February)
• Guide new international students on campus and in Enschede
• Help international students with all formalities
• Answer questions about student life in Enschede
• Make sure that the (new) students have a great time in Enschede
• Work together with the Mentor Coordinator of the ESN Twente board
• Are regularly present at ESN events

Mentor of your study programme

• Help during the 2 introductions (August/September and January/February)
• Guide new international students from your study programme on campus and in Enschede
• Help international students from your study programme with some formalities
• Answer questions about studying (specifically your study programme) and student life in Enschede
• Help with integration with the Dutch students and study association
• Work together with the Mentor Coordinator of the ESN Twente board
• Enjoy the ESN events
